Registration Fees

Many funding institutions and universities are not keen on paying for conference events such as dinners or excursions, if they are paid for separately. Thus, rather than request separate payments for the Symposium registration fee, banquet and excursion, we prepared three levels of registration fees, which we call Symposium Packages: basic (), standard (), and full (). This way, all of them will be termed as conference fees on invoices, which should help Symposium attendees to participate in all activities. In our opinion events such as banquets and excursions are not only entertainment, but also important occasions for scientific discussions, networking and starting new research collaborations.

The table below shows in detail what each of the three packages includes. In short, the basic package is equivalent to a typical registration fee, the standard package additionally includes the banquet ticket and sightseeing tours, and the full package comprises also a half-day excursion, extra souvenirs and a printed copy of the Symposium Proceedings.

SYMPOSIUM PACKAGES (conference fees):

There are also three types of fees depending on the type of participant you are (regular, student or accompanying person; registration for children under 10 years is free), and two types of fees depending on the time of registration (early  or late  ) – all fees are given in Polish Złoty / PLN (1 PLN ≈ 0.25 USD / 0.22 EUR / 0.18 GBP):

Payments

We accept only bank transfers and credit card payments. All payments must be made in Polish Złoty (PLN).

In the case of bank transfers, participants must cover all banking charges. When making the transfer, please make sure that the Jagiellonian University will receive the full amount in PLN; if the received amount is lower than the fee chosen by the participant in the registration form, registration will be unsuccessful. Moreover, if bank transfer was chosen, the participant must send a bank transfer confirmation to konferencje@uj.edu.pl. The bank transfer statement must contain the name and surname of the participant.

In the case of credit card payments, the transaction surcharges are included in the registration fee. Credit card payments are processed via the REGISTRATION PLATFORM.
